ArchiCAD 23 Build 3003 is a powerful modeling program that allows architects to design buildings more efficiently using Virtual Building technology. Advanced features of ArchiCAD:
- Familiarity with MORF tools. ArchiCAD has a new tool called “MORPH” (MORF) which is designed for free modeling.
- MORF tool components. The object created by the MORF tool consists of three components: vertex, face, and surface.
- Create a MORF polygon object. The first way to build MORF objects is polygonal. With that, you can make a closed loop – in fact, the MORF face.
- Create polygonal 3D MORF objects. Polygon objects are not attached to one plane at all – each node can occupy any position in space, thus creating a spatial polygon.
- Manufacture of rectangular, curved and closed MORF elements. In general, there are four types of MORF element construction: “rectangles” and “rotated rectangles” to make straight elements, “centers and radii” and “points on curves” to make curved elements.
- Create a 3D box from the MORF element. Construction Method A box creates solid objects. The first two points determine the base of the box, and the third the height.
- Make a round MORP element. And the third construction method is rounding. It was built in three steps, and you must first set a profile.
- Selection of subelements. Each MORF element consists of sub-sections which can be distinguished for further work. Select several sub-items. In this case, you can select several sub-elements at once.
- Removes MORF sub-elements. At any time, the selected MORF sub-elements can be deleted, thus editing the structure of the MORF object.
- Work with faces and surfaces. At the same time, you can add new geometry to existing MORF elements – faces, surfaces, or solid objects.
- MORF Altitude Settings. Like other 3D objects, MORP-objects can be adjusted in height – this parameter is called the base height.
- Display morph elements in the plan. On the floor plan, MORF elements are displayed as 3D projections – as well as complicated roofs or shells.
- Prepare coatings for MORF elements. In the MORF element parameter dialog, you can set the base coating material, which is then applied to all object surfaces.
- Prepare a method for splitting faces in the MORF element. Each facet of the MORF element has three modes of construction that influence the principles of surface formation and appearance.
- Change the face texture in the MORP element. By default, the texture mapping method on MORF objects is boxed. But the user can set their own mixing method for each face – up to mixing the ball.
- Change the origin and direction of the texture of the MORF element. For each surface of the MORF element, you can set your own starting point for texture propagation and rotation angle.
- Move the MORP body knot. Each MORF element node can be freely moved in space, thereby changing the general structure of the volume and becoming attached to another node, the face of the object.
